perhaps it's embarassing to be seen blogging about anime and managa in this day and age, or perhaps it's becoming more and more absorbed into the western cultural consiousness. regardless, given the company I keep, no one is going to bat an eye and I think it's only fair, since my friends got me into anime less than a year ago.
